I started lessons with iLOL less than a year ago, but I feel they have contributed so much and so quickly to the development of my Italian! Classes with iLOL are extremely productive, my teacher has great skills to identify the right path considering your individual needs, and is very assertive on planning the most appropriate content. I have been learning Italian with iLOL for about three months. I cannot recommend iLOL highly enough. My tutor is an excellent teacher and is extremely patient. She immerses you in learning Italian and when explaining things will try and explain it to you, in the first instance, in Italian before resorting to explaining it in English. She pitches her teaching at exactly the right level to challenge you and make progress without it ever seeming onerous.

I have been taking iLOL lessons since November 2018. Looking back on that first lesson I am struck by the good fortune that we seemed to be compatible from that first lesson, probably because of my iLOL tutor experience and skill as a teacher. One of my reasons for taking one-on-one lessons was that I was not comfortable with group lessons at a local Italian language school because of the lack of focused context in a group situation, and my brief experience with one-on-one lessons for about two weeks at a language school in Italy...

I love my Italian lessons with iLOL on Zoom, not only because my tutor is an extremely skilful language teacher, but also because they transport me to Italy for an hour a week to discuss Italian culture, food, customs, history, news and a lot more. We only speak in Italian, which disciplines me to push through those confidence barriers and have a go, which I know is the only way of improving my spoken Italian, and my teacher is always very patient when I struggle to find the right word or verb ending...
