When i have booked my trial lesson on the availability calendar, how will i know that the booking was successful?

Once you have booked your trial lesson on the calendar you will receive a confirmation email on the email address you entered when booking. You will then receive an email from your assigned iLOL teacher.

Can I do my private lessons on any platform (Skype, Google Meet, Zoom...) I prefer?

Of course, you can choose whichever platform you are used to using, you just need to indicate this when you book your trial lesson.

What methods can I use to pay for my lessons on iLOL?

Within the e-commerce the user will have the opportunity to purchase the products/services on sale by choosing between the following payment methods:

– Bank transfer
– Stripe (payment by credit card)
– Apple Pay (mobile only)

As soon as the purchase has been made and the transaction has been verified, the user will receive an email containing an invoice for the purchase. It will always be possible to view and download invoices for purchases made by accessing your personal area using your login details created at the time of purchase.

How long are my lessons valid for and what form will they take?

All services purchased on the e-commerce website are valid for one year from the date of purchase, after which they can no longer be used.
The teaching activities for sale on ilearnonline.it and/or de.ilearnonline.it are conducted exclusively online on VoIP platforms. Appointments are exclusively one-to-one, teacher-student, scheduled and for the sole purpose of teaching Italian language and culture online.

Can I take a break during the course of a package of lessons?

Yes. If the break is no longer than two weeks, simply inform your iLOL teacher, otherwise send us an email to [email protected]

You have one year from the date of your package purchase to use your lessons.

When can I start with my online lessons?

Now! You can book your free trial lesson or start your Italian course with iLOL at any time.

Are iLOL teachers professionals?

Absolutely. Each of our teachers has a university degree and is certified as a teacher of Italian to foreigners, so professionalism is guaranteed.

If I start as an absolute beginner, how long will it take me to start communicating?

With an iLOL teacher who uses the iLOL teaching method, which is focused solely on your goals and learning styles, the minimum time to start communicating if you start as a complete beginner is about 10 lessons.

I have never studied Italian before, is it possible to start with online lessons?

Have you really never tried it before? Don’t waste any more time, start with iLOL now! You will be face to face with your teacher, you will have no fear of making mistakes in front of other students. iLOL teachers are professionals at putting you at ease and in less than 10 lessons you’ll finally start speaking some Italian! I would like to take a course exclusively to feel more confident in conversation, is that possible?

Absolutely. With iLOL you determine your own goals. If feeling more confident in communication is your main goal, then your iLOL teacher will find the fastest and most effective way to get you there.

I would like to prepare for an Italian exam, can I do it on iLOL?

Absolutely. If your goal is to prepare for an Italian exam, just let your teacher know and they will create the best exam preparation path for you.

Will I have homework?

Only if you want to. You will tell your teacher directly whether or not you have the time to do some exercise between lessons. Obviously doing some exercises speeds up the learning process, but it is not essential.

Is it possible to reschedule a purchased service?

Absolutely. You will be able to reschedule up to 24 hours before your scheduled appointment.

Can I unsubscribe from the newsletters?

Yes, you can. It’s always possible to unsubscribe from the newsletters via the section at the bottom of the received newsletters.

Can I delete my account?

Yes, you can. You can cancel your account via the “Account details” tab in your personal area.

Is it possible to cancel my purchase and claim a refund?

Definitely. You have the right to exercise your cancellation and/or cooling-off rights during the 15 days following the date of purchase. You will be able to request a refund for unused lessons at the date of the request by sending an email to [email protected] and specifying “Refund Request” in the subject line. After these 15 days from the date of purchase they will not be refundable.

Will I need a book? What will the materials for the lessons be?

The materials you will need for your lessons will be agreed with your teacher during the course of your lessons.

Can I find a section of free resources on iLOL to practise between online lessons?

That’s why iLOL has created www.italianlesson.it where you can find lots of exercises to practise your Italian. You’ll also find a blog section on italianlesson.it dedicated to trivia about Italian culture.

Can I find podcasts on iLOL to practise my listening comprehension skills?
